The Planter Side Table

The planter side table is a transformative table that can hold a potted plant or tree, while maintaining the useful surface of a table. A three part lid covers the table's hollow base while there is no plant occupying the space. When the planter portion is in use, the small square piece of the lid can be slid and stored in a discrete pocket underneath the table's surface, while the two semi circular pieces can be flipped upside down and put back in place, revealing a raised box. This raised box functions to gather the leaves or branches of the plant, while preventing objects from falling into the pot.
